Hi guys! Just popping on real quick with today's photo of the day. It's of my dad and Cal, right before Cal left for school (bedhead) and my dad headed out on his drive home. It's bittersweet because while we always hate to see Alfie go, we're turning around the B and B in just a couple of days for my mom and her friend Mike to arrive on Thursday. I have a few jobs in between here and then, so we're busy bees. Not sure when I'll get back here, but Friday for sure. Is it spring yet? Yesterday was gorge, but today? Chilly again. Thanks to Annie, I have Neil Young on in the studio, alternating with the Midnight in Paris soundtrack. And also, Boz Scaggs has a new album out. Music gets us through, yes?

neil young, oh man. i love neil. i saw him once and i totally cried. it was the one and only time that i cried at a concert. he's just so tall and intense and that voice, and we were only about 10 apart and i lost it. and then pearl jam came out, oy. good times. i seriously need to go listen to some N/Y right now. I've never gotten into the old Boz and I really need to check out that midnight in paris soundtrack. i am so behind the times, i literally just listen to the amelie soundtrack all the time. modest mouse, indigo girls & carol king are regulars too. itunes is calling my name this mornin' i have got to get some new tunes.
good luck with all your busyness. i think i am taking a day off before i let the busyness set in. i am ready for a true blue day off, one where i don't feel guilty for playing hooky, or have all the things i need to do hanging over my head. yeah, yeah i have totally convince myself, day off here i come.

A busy bee indeed. Spring? Pah! the clocks went forward last weekend and an extra hour of daylight is all we have to show for the new season so far.
